As much equipment as you have. If you have a mask, fins and/or snorkel, bring them. Swim goggles can work too. If you don't have anything (ok, well, you're going to need a suit), don't worry about it. We usually have some extra equipment to lend. We also have sticks and gloves for all new players. All we ask is that first time players send us an e-mail so that we know you're coming.
How much does it cost?
Because no one is trying to make money, the cost to play is generally the cost of the pool divided by the number of attendees. Sometimes we ask for an extra dollar or two to help cover the cost of group equipment (puck, sticks, goals, etc.). The current cost is $10 per night at Oak Marr Rec Center and $8 per night at GMU ($5 paid at the front desk of GMU plus $3 paid to the DC club after hockey). Of course, for new players, the first night is free. (We're your underwater hockey pushers - first we get you hooked, then we reel you in.)
